Quality meals start with quality ingredients and at Cindy’s Country Cafe, we pride ourselves on using only the freshest and highest quality meats and vegetables. Whether it be our gingerbread pancakes with homemade apple cobbler topping or the soups that we prepare fresh every day, every delicious dish at Cindy’s starts with the freshest and best ingredients.
Great ingredients are only the beginning of the story however. Cindy and Lyle Morse together bring more than 50 years of great cooking experience to the Country Cafe tables. Lyle Morse leaned his unique style of cooking as an executive chef for two large corporations and taught culinary arts at Johnson and Wales University. Meanwhile Cindy has been cooking for the masses for 20 years starting in bakeries and moving to large hotels as a roundsmen and finally a food and beverage manager.
It is this experience and a creativity born of a love of cooking that has led to such delectable dishes as Cindy’s famous open faced meatloaf sandwich topped with sautéed vegetables, melted cheese and served on grilled 3/4” thick pumpernickel bread, hearty harvest omelettes and the classic ‘Newporter’ breakfast.
While we love to see our customers enjoy their meals at the cafe, provisioning our friends in the boating community has become a large and important part of our business. Select from our entire menu of fresh hearty food prepared to order and your time underway will be all the more enjoyable. When you place an order with Cindy’s ‘turf to surf’ delivery, we guarantee you’ll have your order delivered to your craft by 8:30 am!
The staff at Cindy’s are like family. Everyone is truly committed to taking care of our customers and at Cindy’s we believe in the importance of the personal touch. We go out of our way to get to know our customers, and believe that a new customer is simply a regular making their first visit. It is no surprise then, that most of our staff have been here for several years, and many since Cindy’s first open our doors in 2003. Come join our family!
